When you think about commercialization of really investing in the research, you invest in women's health research, then you can apply, you know, a national data and research and AI on top of that.

Then you can identify white space opportunities for pharmaceutical companies to come in and do clinical trials and, and then they can develop new treatments and solutions, and then FemTech can come in and innovate on that.

Uh, so there is major upside, and the biggest challenge with Canada right now is all these companies are having to go to the US or other countries globally because Canada just does not have the capacity to do the clinical trials to stimulate the economy and keep everything within Canada.

And so this really is a huge opportunity for our country right now.

We have certain celebrities going through menopause at the same time and being very vocal about their experiences, especially not finding the care that they needed easily.

We have a development of a FemTech industry, such as dig-digital apps and wearables.

We have podcasts as a popular way for patients to get their information about menopause.

With COVID, we had an increase in telemedicine visits and specifically the development of telemedicine platforms geared towards just taking care of menopausal women.

Uh, growing up, um, I admittedly, I had more women friends than male, so I, I could relate to them better.

And then when I heard, uh, of this term called FemTech, which is where technology can be scaled to help women, I said, "Wow." And then when I s- when I went into that FemTech space, studied some 440 companies, 439 to be exact, and saw the wonderful work happening around menstrual health, around maternal health, everything was maternal, everything was mother and child, but nothing for this phase of a woman's life, which is menopause, a phase that every woman will go through for half of her life, 50 to 84 symptoms, yet zero conversation, and some of these symptoms are fatal.

And I said, "You know, something has to be done." I think this space needs a good male ally with good intent, and that's what I am.

There's

Femtech conferences that are happening everywhere.

There's a women's health being put on general health care conference circuits and discussion points.

Maternal health has always been on the agenda everywhere, especially, I mean, outside of the U.S., And now it's expanding to other places and other areas.

And It's on the agenda.

I was just in Korea.

I mean, there was a Femtech discussion that was happening there as well.

It's also part of corporations.
