Felidar Retreat

Good stuff.

For cats, you've got like Felidar Retreat and Leonin Warrior.

Again, makes cats on attack or whenever a land comes in.

So obviously you want a good ramp package like you should have in any deck, but that will get you lots of zombies, lots of cats to do the thing that you want to do.

And then control decks are going a little bigger than that.

And then we end up with metagame or matchup to finding cards like Felidar Retreat.

That's a card I registered at Eternal Weekend one year.

And it was crushing in the snow cone mirrors.

And to beat the Felidar Retreat, there's Yorian.

I got all of our cards are of equal strength.

Nobody's going to win out of nowhere.

... where I'm gonna have a bunch of cards of the same type.

But you also have that same effect in token decks, where you have a bunch of just incidental tokens of the same type, where you're like, "Okay, well, I made, like, three Cats from a Felidar Retreat, so I'm gonna make three tokens," or, "My commander makes Vampire tokens-

Right

Yeah

... uh, in terms of blocking.

Yeah, I mean, Felidar Retreat is a card I play a ton-
