Felicity Jones

Leader's most recent film was the 2018 Ruth Bader Ginsburg biopic On the Basis of Sex, which I saw in theaters.

Felicity Jones plays RBG.

It's okay.

But she's mostly gained acclaim working in TV since the 2010s.

The plot kicks off with Langdon waking up in an Italian hospital, suffering from amnesia and a head wound.

He is soon joined by Dr Sienna Brooks, played by Felicity Jones, and together they embark on a frantic journey across Europe to prevent a deadly virus from being unleashed by the late billionaire Bertrand Zobrist, played by Ben Foster.

The virus, designed to decimate half of the world's population, is hidden behind a series of clues tied to Dante's The Divine Comedy.

While the film's premise holds potential, the execution leaves much to be desired.

This slow start is followed by a rushed middle section where the duo races from one European landmark to another, solving puzzles with implausible speed.

Tom Hanks, as always, delivers a reliable performance, but his portrayal of Langdon lacks the charm and charisma that made his character engaging in previous films.

Felicity Jones, as Sienna Brooks, is competent but not memorable.

and their chemistry is overshadowed by the film's frenetic pace.

And Cillian Murphy had Emily Blunt, and Adrien Brody had Felicity Jones.

And last year, you know, um, Michael B. Jordan had, uh, what was her name? Um, Mosakyu.

Uh, who?

May the fourth be with you.

Oh my God, I'm pretty sure both of us have seen Star Wars one time, like, all of the Star Wars movies one singular time, and, like, basically none of the newer stuff that has come out, except I watched the one with, uh, Felicity, Felicity Jones.

Is that her name? Felicity something.

I told myself I was gonna watch all of the Star Wars stuff-

I think she's just got one of these familiar faces because I see there's a little Eva Green in her.

There's a little Felicity Jones, who I adore.

And there's also a bit of that similar striking facial effect that Alexandra Daddario has.

So there is

Even better, however, than Helen Mirren in the wizard role, as this sort of an old mage who has a beautiful young daughter.

Felicity Jones.

Felicity Jones.

Various princes and noble people wash ashore, and the daughter ends up with one of them, and it's about Prospera letting go of her daughter.

But there's a mutant fish creature named Caliban on the island, here played by Jaman Hounsou.

They were setting up all these different love interests for it.

Instead of Gwen Stacy, they had Felicity Jones and set up to be the black cat.

So you had all these other love stories that you could tell.

It drives me nuts that we're not telling any of these other ones in the MCU.

Yeah.

This stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, and Forest Whitaker.

So we've got, comes out in 2016, $200 million budget grosses, a lot more than that, $408 million domestically, placing at number two in the box office, only behind Finding Dory, coming out of Captain America Civil War, beating out the machine of the Marvel Cinematic Universe at that time.

Finding Dory was the number one movie that year, as I mentioned.

Got a little bit of award nominations and a couple wins here.

It was Best Achievement in Sound Mixing and Visual Effects.

I mean, a lot of those BBC dramas, like Felicity Jones and people like that, that was their breakout role.

So yeah, Bronson, I guess, is the breakout for both yourself and Tom.
