Justin, before we discuss some data points in the Focus on Feedlots report, can you remind us why this report is special?

Yeah, so the focus on feedlots is really one of the unique things we do here at Kansas State University has a lot of history.

The focus on feedlots is essentially a summary of feedlot performance and closeout data.

U.S. packer interest on the Western Canadian Fed market was quiet.

Western Canadian feedlot margins have gone from bad to worse over the past month.

Feedlots are looking at record high break-evens for the balance of this year.

And the cow trade in Central Alberta Tuesday.

D1 and 2 cows, $2.17 to $2.55. D3 cows, $2 to $2.15. Bulls in Central Alberta yesterday brought $2.63 to $2.85. NUS light trade was reported in Iowa and Nebraska yesterday with live sales at $2.20, steady with prices seen earlier in the week and $5 lower than last week.
