Okay, FIVB.

So this isn't the VNL.

This is the FIVB.

And I got to know all of their names and I go around and shake their hands.

And one of the coolest things is why I wanted to tell you is that I was watching at home with my kids, I think, and I was watching an FIVB event and I saw my wife running around the whole arena to shake all the ball kids hands.

Cool.

That's cool.

... uh, the players and keeping it professional and expediting.

I think at least on the world, on the FIVB and the Beach Pro Tour, they've been pushing for speed

speedAnd so we're losing some of that extra personality, some of that extra dialogue in between points because the refs are like, "Oh, yeah, you have a question, you're done.

Bye." And next serve.

But there is no drama, even more than the Olympics, more than the Olympics, than the Olympic trials.

Right.

And it pains me that the FIVB is going through this situation where you, um, have to go through the slog, where events outside of VBTV are not broadly televised-

Um, Omaha has got a big thing coming up as, as was announced yesterday.

The F I V B women's volleyball world cup is coming to Omaha selected as one of the host cities as the U S and Canada are like split hosting this.

Like it's the, uh, like it's the Olympics.

So the CHI health center, uh, will be a host site for this event.

Mm.

Uh, one of the guys that I was coaching with in St. Kitts actually went on to be a very senior referee, right? Um, and I think he was a FIVB at some point in time.

But he was all about rules, and he could-

... right? Who were probably the three men who were leading most of the charge around volleyball at the time.

Uh, and they said to me, "Well, Glenn, you know, um, we understand that from an age point of view you're too old to become an FIVB referee, but there is an opportunity if you would like to get involved with sitting volleyball." And I said, "Sure, why not?"

Mm.

It's a good weekend.

Even on the FIVB, right?

It's pretty, yeah.

... travel internationally, and, um, for whatever the reasons were, like, whether, you know, it's costly, uh, or w- you know, if there's a belief factor of like, do I belong there? And if you guys can just shed some light on what that was like to, like, kinda, like, take that step to, to going overseas and playing FIVB.

Yeah, I think, I mean, uh, for many reasons, I mean, it's, yeah, it's costly.

It's really hard.
