Fear Her

Yeah.What a sad end And yeah.

Man, some might say the same for 2005, Matthew Graham commissioned to write Fear Her.

[laughs]

I mean, I, I maintained Fear Her, if you're doing a marathon, it's the Sensorites of New Who.

This is the disadvantage, you see, of not...

Unlike my [laughs] uh, commentary on Fear Her, which I recorded before everyone had seen newsreader Huw Edwards' bottom, uh, and, uh, released for non-patrons a little bit of time after.

So it wasn't really in my head, and the brouhaha had sort of died down.

But I no- make no mention of it whatsoever.

It does keep it interesting, and I've always said that even in the worst of all Doctor Who ever, there's still something good to be found.

Um, still trying to find the good in Fear Her, but I am told it's there.

Gryffindor monster.

That was a cheap, that was a cheap pop.

Oh, oh.

I know, I know it's off topic.

Good bit in Fear Her, when he parks the TARDIS at the wrong angle, that always makes me laugh.

Yes, and then flips it round.

I don't think he's doing AI because, uh, he showed a video breakdown.

The one thing that he did show was he took this shot of David Tennant from Fear Her where he runs to Rose when she's, she's battling with that Scribble Ball, and he runs around the corner with the sonic screwdriver.

And he did this edit where the first thing he did was take David Tennant out, put him in a completely new background And then the next pass, he removed that, that Henley shirt that he was wearing and put him in a regular shirt and tie, and then he changed the color of the suit and the shoes to the blue and the red.

And it was really impressive what I saw.

And he started the derision of when you are defending an unloved story, you stand on the chair in front of the entire room and explain why you love this.

He did that for Fear Her, Keir.

And it was a really terrific defense.

So Drew is not here this year, and he has missed, and I decided to host a panel in his absence and in his honor.
