We were really excited by the signing.

He actually turned down European football at, I think, FC Twente in Holland to come over.

He was out of contract there, and we got him on a free rather than him signing a new deal.

And just through injuries and what have you, never really happened for him.

They had to come through a pretty long qualifying process just to get to this point of the Europa League.

We're looking at these results and we're thinking Ferencváros aren't coming to Glasgow just to, you know, take part.

I can't wait to see him and we've got Moroccans now like he knows Louza, he knows Unai, and he's born and raised in the Netherlands.

If he starts, he speaks Dutch, he's, he's played at AEK, he's played at PSV, he's played at Twente.

Diego Luna is now, like, you know if he wasn't already is definitely the star man there these days uh but not fully living up to that hype this season it's been a tough year for him missing out on the u.s national team and that world cup squad and and not quite putting up the numbers that some were hoping for him he's got five goals and three assists so hey goal involvement's not terrible but not maybe as much as some expected uh they got sergi salons as well who's uh i believe this is first season there after signing from gerona b a la liga uh well not quite la liga too but but um just a lower side, a B squad in spades, something somewhat familiar from an NYCFC perspective.
