The first one I want to talk about is the approval the Council approving the installation of solar panel farms and some of our farmland and I've been in Lexington since the 70s and I can remember the PDR program where we were paying landowners not to develop their property.

And when you go back and look at the conservation easement definition in the PDR, it specifically talks about preserving natural or scenic or open space values of the real property in Fayette County.

And I know that not every farm is involved in PDR, but I think when we allow those farms as well to do something like that, we're literally violating the principles of the PDR and what we wanted to maintain, particularly that natural and scenic beauty of Fayette County.

And I'm just really concerned that This is that program has been around forever and we're losing sight of that when I think we could better find better places to place these solar farms.

And one of my thoughts was everybody's talked about covering parking lots or putting it on buildings.
