Fay Compton

I don't know if that had Debbie Reynolds in it or not.

yeah so also in the cast was faye compton and she was mrs sanderson the elderly owner of hill house she's the lady that in the beginning of the film is talking to dr mark away because he wants to host his study, his event at Hill House.

And she is the owner at present.

So, of course, it's her nephew that is being sent as representative during this event.

Now, Faye Compton was best known for being in Alfred Hitchcock's The Lady Vanishes in 38.

And then, of course, later on, she was in Orson Welles' Othello in 51.

Wow.
