Fathom

And it was really only a little later when I started getting into Godzilla stuff that I picked up some of the,

you know, it came from beneath the sea, Beast from 20,000 Fathoms, that sort of thing.

And some of his other movies like The Sinbad and things I really only discovered in recent years when, you know, my wife and I were like, you know, there are Harryhausen movies we haven't seen.

We should probably correct that.

So it was actually a fairly engaging, oh, I didn't remember where this was going, kind of a rewatch, ironically, because it was so unmemorable that everything I thought I remembered about it was actually from other movies.

So I didn't become aware of Harryhausen until I got a little older and began reading online like more about Godzilla and other monsters of the time.

Primarily I think I just mainly just knew of the Beast from 20,000 Fathoms because that's the one you kind of see brought up most in relation to Godzilla.

But for a long time, you know, I had this understanding of him as this influential special effects stop motion animator, you know.
