Fat Andy

[upbeat music]

Welcome to the Sibling Sit Down, where brother and sister talk about the beloved New Jersey mafia hit TV show, The Sopranos.

I'm Sarah Stefanelli.

And I'm Joseph Stefanelli.

Hey,

[laughs]

And then there was Moe Black's brother, Fat Andy-

How you doing, buddy?

His retirement meant reinvention.

He started picking up small acting gigs, a hitman on the television show Kojak, and even a cameo in Goodfellas, where he played a background mobster named Fat Andy.

Eppolito later said he met the actor Joe Pesci on the Goodfellas set, and that Pesci helped him land small parts in Predator 2, Bullets Over Broadway, and Lost Highway.

Leading fully into his image as the ex-cop with mafia blood, Eppolito decided to tell his own story, or rather, his version of it.
