And this takes you then to chapter 3, looking at the intention for using the Miswak.

That's the domain of the fiqh.

The specialist of fiqh is the? Is the what? Faqih, right? Is the faqih.

So the faqih has a task to do, has a mission in life.

What is the mission in life of the faqih we're going to go into in a moment? Then we're going to say, okay, that's his mission.

Uh, [speaking Arabic] So the prohibition for hoarding is referred to those items which are crucial to human livelihood, such as food items.

And the Fuqaha also explained that this prohibition of hoarding is related to those things which serve as a means of livelihood of people and whose hoarding would otherwise cause harm to the general masses.

As such, there's no harm in saving one's wealth for future use.

But let's look at the actual historical event, my dear brothers and sisters.

The companion Mu'adh ibn Jabal traveled to Syria and Persia on a state diplomatic mission.

He physically witnessed the citizens bowing flat on the floor in absolute prostration before their kings and generals as a routine cultural protocol of high social respect.

According to the Hanafis, that's permissible because for the Hanafi, in the Hanafi school, Fajr time extends all the way until before Fajr, before-- I mean, Isha time extends all the way until Fajr time.

But the majority of the Fuqaha, the Maliki, the Shafi, and the Hanbalis, no.

They say Isha time it ends, uh, and, and that's where the difference of opinion happens.

Some they say until half of the night, and some they say actually it's a bit, a little bit, uh, before that, one third of the night.
