And, uh, he's, you know, I, every time I see, after hearing the story of him being a POW and being trapped, I remember the, uh, Donald Pleasance talking in the movie, uh, Fantastic Voyage, where he was, uh, terrified he was claustrophobic and apparently that was a real story that he told about being uh in a in a bombing where he was trapped and and had to be extricated before he went to war so um you know he's just an amazing he's an amazing character watching they all are i mean i love i love that film i love all the the setups and I don't want to go into it.

yeah and um i mean the film as a whole takes its um takes like really generous inspiration from fantastic voyage from 1966 i believe yeah okay they've sort of stolen the idea of like miniaturization and stuff pretty wholesale bit of a take on that movie i've never seen it

Why would they? Why did I? I was kind of bullied into it.

I feel like I experienced that swaying from inside the stadium's body like I was in Fantastic Voyage, just not with Raquel Welch.

Looking downward, I could catch glimpses of the crowd while the top of their heads, their scalps through gaps in what seemed to be your standard cheap ass drop ceiling that you might see in someone's basement rec room.

Those were the same people who would have been terminally injured, most likely, had that 500-pound beam fallen during a ballgame.

So today we launch into the next 100 episodes and we set off from base camp with playlist 51 as we tiptoe into December and the Christmas charts of 1982.

And I think it's fair to say the first seven tracks do not disappoint.

We start with one of the most unexpected duets of all time.
