Brett Bean had a booth at Boston Fan Expo, and it was one of those things where... you know, we were there together, obviously, but I was, I was, I might've been talking to someone else or I might've been with Violet kind of showing her around and you stopped by his booth and you were like, we really got to, we really, this guy's got some really cool stuff coming up and we gotta, we gotta get him on the show and we gotta talk to him.

And we had a great conversation with them.

People started recognizing that, holy shit, Black Flag took their replicas that they got from Marvel and just stapled the acetate on it after the fact, and then were selling it as their own product, which is insanely shitty.

The fucking assholes at Black Flag were celebrating that they sold out so quick and were telling everybody that they're doing the same thing again at Fan Expo Boston, but with more of these Crane acetate exclusives.

Clayton Crane was meant to sign at that Black Flag booth all day, but he canceled because he couldn't.

And then the owner of Black Flag, Jason, he put out a Facebook Live where he was walking around a convention just shitting on people.

The problem was that the artist made a fucking bootleg variant, and that a store made a fucking bootleg, and that CGC's giving it legitimacy.

It's fucking bullshit, and people were so fucking mad.

Black Flag at Fan Expo Boston was gonna do the same thing to Ghost Rider number one, but they were gonna put a Zimonica Versus variant on that acetate to not only create another fucking bootleg comic, but also put in a character from a completely different publisher that has nothing to do with Marvel, that Crane created himself, on the variant, which is a huge fucking no-no.

Like that's fucking insane.
