I mean, obviously we went into this expecting a little bit of chaos within that team with how the team was set up with Fanart, Brennan and Laporte.

But clearly they've got it figured out because they're now standing at five stage wins with three for Brennan, two for Wout.

you're so welcome of course it is a real classic and speaking about that too since the fans make so much fan art for you and signs and they post your photos all the time on instagram how do you feel when you see all of the love that's been pouring into you with these creations

it's amazing um The fact that people have grown a love for me and I'm not even in the group has been beautiful.

The artwork has been so amazing to see the talent that a lot of the fans have and them sharing with me has been amazing.

which was the first Dark Shadows convention, which started in 1977.

And you sent me pictures from ShadowCon 2 from 1978 and from festivals as well of actors, fans, fan art, all kinds of really great, which I'm going to be playing just as we talk here.

So talk about your introduction to the Dark Shadows fandom and getting involved with ShadowCon and the festivals.

Sure.

Obviously, social media is still a big part of it.

We are obviously the ones pushing the buttons, go live on whether it's a patch update, partnership, a meme or a fan art, right? We look for those things.

We do research like what other companies are doing and is it something maybe we can look at and see how we can maybe do it our own because we never did it before.

So...

And sometimes, you know, obviously we see the conversations and sometimes, yes, we jump in like saying, oh, I also watch this or I actually don't agree that maybe this character is better than this one.

So it's all about just connecting with people in those moments.

But when nothing is happening, I'm very proud we have our Fan Art Friday that we always feature our community.

We look for fan arts, cosplays, drawings, screenshots, whatever, to showcase.

you guys maybe kevin do you want to say something about the the comic book so far how it's going

yeah no i mean it's going great uh the reception of the community is awesome like the the thing i love the most uh because i've never experienced that uh with any other project um is all the fan art coming out of the character.

To me, it's not like a book that is not even out that there is so much love for the characters.

The community of Postal and Running With Scissors is just so fucking awesome.

It's crazy to see that because even on AAA license, no other community will be going hard on fan art even before the release like that.

It's really great to see all the community being behind.

uh the character our take on the dude and uh and that was you know the most stressful part about it was uh creating a new version of the dude because you know all people you know you see all intense and the love for the dude in the community and when you pitch like a new take on it um that was our our biggest stress i guess uh but seeing the reception and the love for our version of it uh just fucking amazing uh but yeah no just been so fun to work on uh on the comics so far uh taking the feedback of the community seeing what they want to see uh part of the comic book you know so it's it's a really work in progress uh experience as well like when you comment as a fan you write write something on your reddit x or whatever we see them we see all the comments and what you want to see and we we we we you know we we use the interaction and really like you know especially on the covers you know when there is many covers that we did it was out of seeing like airing what people want to see uh so You know, the feedback is always it's part of the process.
