Family Force 5

like I need to throw out, too, that

Family Force 5 was one

of my favorite

bands of all

And I gave them a 2.5.

So for those first-time listeners out there.

Mineral is kind of like Family Force 5.

In no way whatsoever.

Everything from Skillet and Hawk Nelson.

We had Family Force 5's debut album.

Uh, had some stuff from, uh, from falling up ahead as I lay dying.

I had under oath so many, so many albums and artists back then.

Number two, I'm given to the Georgia Boys of Family Force Five with their debut album, Business Up Front, Party in the Back.

And if you're still sticking around, here's that little side story I promised way back when at the beginning of this episode.

But Family Force 5, the three brothers in the band, the Olds Brothers, used to have their own little thing in the 90s called the Brothers when they were kids.

[laughs]

...

The first

concert I ever saw was Tilby Mac and Family Force 5 at Liberty University.

Do you know how Liberty? No.

I

But yeah, in the case of a situation like this, I think that there are a lot of people in this, who were in this band, especially in the early days, who loved Jesus and wanted to get the good news of the gospel out there and what that looked like under the tape banner i don't know um and yeah that's okay but but we're jumping back and talking about take me to your leader um which will be fun and so we'll uh we'll dig into that conversation in just a little bit but before we do that let's talk about what's in the news

Yeah, so I think that the coolest news thing for me that happened recently was Family Force 5 is auctioning off old gear and old CDs.

So, Joel, you can finally step in and buy those old skinny jeans that you've been looking to purchase.

From them?
