And right there in July of 1999, it was the time they started persecution of Falun Gong.

And Falun Gong has, based on Chinese government's own statistic, it's like 100 million people doing that practice in China.

And then they refused to give up the practice.

It's a disciplined practice.

meditation exercise.

What is it about the practice of Falun Gong, Falun Dafa, that is so frightening to the CCP?

Well, the CCP control people's mind.

It's an execution, right? It's an execution.

But however, the U.S. Congress in 2016 passed Resolution 343, Basically, in the Resolution 343, it's a bipartisan resolution passed by U.S. Congress on June 13th of 2016, which says systematic state-sanctioned organ harvesting from non-consenting prisoners of conscience in People's Republic of China, including large numbers of Falun Gong practitioners and members of other religious and ethnic minority groups.

That's 2016.

Now, actually, the European Parliament resolution passed a little earlier in December, on December 12th of 2013.

Well, yes, even those of us who go to China for a heart, we're stealing the life of somebody for their body part.

One thing that fascinates me is that the body part donors tend to be people of conscience.

such as Falun Gong practitioners or other religious people.

And so the irony of it is that the Chinese Communist Party is stealing the organs of people of conscience.

And so Shen Yun's tagline is China revives.

before communism, and it was founded by Chinese Americans, Chinese dissidents, really, spiritual believers who were being persecuted for their faith inside of China for practicing a meditation discipline called Falun Dafa or Falun Gong, which is a slow-moving energy exercise with three core tenets in the Buddhist thought of of truthfulness, compassion, and forbearance.

And it was introduced in 1992 by Mr. Li Hongzhi.

It was embraced in China, even by the government at that time, but it grew too quickly.

Uh, Mr. Salzberger.

And he was having trouble with access.

And then he was briefed on a few things, including the persecution of Falun Gong.

And they were let back in.
