Well, I am 51 right now, and I've been faking orgasm for 30 years, and I thought something is wrong with me because, uh, I was able to get off on my own, so...

But, uh, never was able to do it with a man in bed.

[chuckles] So as many women, I faked it and just to get it over with, you know.

Tell me about...

Take me back to your previous relationship.

When did you start faking orgasm? How young were you? Do you remember at what point you felt like, "Okay, I'm just gonna get it over with with faking it"?

I think from the first, uh, relationship I've ever had, especially when the first boyfriend, we started strong romantic relationship, and, uh, I just realized that I, I don't feel anything, you know [laughs] in bed.

So faking, here we go.

Um, was associated with experiencing sexual coercion, faking orgasm, and negative psychological and relational outcomes.

Like women have left relationships because of this.

Men have left relationships because of this.
