Hopefully you won't see all these different offensive line combinations like you saw against Furman.

But this is one of those get in, get out – The players that need a lot of work, like, I mean, I think Faison Brandon needs as many reps as he can get.

I think Dasan Brain needs a whole lot of reps.

But you can also pick and choose, like, Quay Moss.

I mean, you had nine whole days.

I think it makes sense maybe why the passing game didn't maybe work as much as you wanted to, especially between the hashes, like maybe the defense because you had the extra time.

They're able to diagnose things early, windows closed maybe sooner than where Faison Brandon is comfortable with his game at the moment, but you still see him being able to flip a switch and snap and clear, still get it down the sideline on the boundary to Darius Jackson for an explosive play and then to Braylon Staley in the end zone.

So there are moments where you see a lot of veteran composure within Faison, but then you also saw where some of the game planning from Georgia Tech you know caused some tension and stress for tennessee and again you had nine days to prepare for it but of course towards the end i mean tennessee just absolutely wore them down on the ground what was it 45 rush attempts um so it's really impressive to see that tennessee was able to do that especially by committee with the guys in the backfield and even though it wasn't the best night you know when you look at the completion percentage for faze on he's still getting the ball to like four six different guys so I think there's a lot of chemistry that he's building with his potential receivers across the field and I just think specifically on offense maybe more of the short passes in the middle of the field something you want to see and then maybe on defense for Tennessee especially now here against Kennesaw State getting home as well like I would like to see more of that pressure on the edge actually get home and translate into sacks and maybe more defensive scores for Tennessee.

Because the case is, if they ended up having a different result because of the atmosphere, imagine Tennessee.

Because I think Tennessee has something on Faison Brandon.

Now seeing what we can do with running backs and wide receivers and offensive line, that's a really tough thing to lose our best tight end and one of the best in the SEC game.

What did you see from Faison Brandon in general terms before we get to specific plays? If you look at the numbers and didn't watch the game, you might have a different viewpoint of what he was, but we all watched it, obviously.

But 10 of 21, 148 yards, two touchdowns.

He also had five carries for 22.

at the safety rolls down, it's like Faison had eyes in the back of his head and he was able to hit.

ethan davis and that's just like an amazing play because you really did have free access hitches so like i wouldn't have been surprised if he would have threw that because pre-snap it was too high for him to see the safeties roll on roll down post at a linebacker that was like a really really special throw and really special play so from that standpoint the ball started off really really hot and it was probably a really big confidence boost too for phase on to see that they can score early and against these guys

I want to ask you about another play specifically, because one of the things that I and I'm sure a lot of people were wondering is, is how does Faison Brandon handle something that goes wrong? Right.

And so you get the pump block.

Because the case is, if they ended up having a different result because of the atmosphere, imagine Tennessee.

Because I think Tennessee has something on Faison Brandon.

And I thought winning on the road with a freshman quarterback at Georgia Tech, Faison Brandon, that was important.

But listen, all of these teams have to play tougher competition.
