Faithfulness

An effort is to be made to rectify poorly performed obligations.

Constancy, constancy in improving and perfecting one's acts will ensure within a short time, a short while, the perfect state of truthfulness.

Interesting.

It's not telling us to just to speak the truth.

A few weeks ago, I went on a walk with the Lord, and I asked the Lord a question.

I said to Him, I said, "Hey, when people enter a new season, you give them a new name.

Oh, I'm just gonna give you the juice right up front.

So I, I'm trying to keep you on a hook here, so we go on a journey together.

But here's the rub, and this is why I've called the series Faithfulness Ain't Feelings.

Because what I've learned to discover and what I'm trying to explore in my own traveling is that faith, one, is not a feeling, but two, it's more than something I think.

This cannot be done without planning.

It should be the first.

Yeah.

And that's sort of the conversation that the Lord is having with us, right? Faithfulness.

Are you going to be faithful? And he reassures us, I am faithful.

I always keep my promises.

Seventh day.

Faithfulness.

Faithful over a few things.

I don't know if you know that or not.

Faithfulness is often the gauge of what we're truly connected to.

Look, you can talk to me about what you believe all day long, but faithfulness reveals what you really value.

Now, when they heard these things, they were enraged and they ground their teeth at him.

In the face of such anger, many of us would be tempted to cower back but that's not what God calls us to do.

And in fact, in those moments, he gives us everything we need to have a peace of soul, unlike the world knows, which brings us to our next point.

Faithfulness to Christ in the face of persecution will steady your soul.
