Faith Huntington

I love that.

One of the most interesting stories that we got to tell, I think in the exhibition text was this story about Faith Trumbull influencing her younger brother, the very well-known and celebrated academic painter, John Trumbull.

Yeah,

I know that name.

People know who John Trumbull is.

People don't know who Faith Trumbull is, but he has a passage in his memoir where he talks about how growing up her work was, Not just needlework, but also drawing was hanging in their mother's parlor and he was influenced by it.

And it's like, oh, gosh.

But also, of course, they lived in the same household.
