Tonight, we're talking about the classic 1971 fantasy film, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, based on the 1964 children's novel, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, by Roald Dahl, and adapted by Roald Dahl as a screenplay with a rewrite by David Seltzer, directed by Mel Stewart.

the unaccredited rewrite, and most short changes would eventually lead to Roald Dahl disowning the film.

And starring Gene Wilder, Jack Albertson, Peter Ostrom, Roy Kinnear, Denise Nickerson, Leonard Stone, Julie Dawn Cole, Paris Themon, Dodo Denny, and Michael Ballner.

Known as an unconventional production, starting with the fact that it was actually Quaker Oats who put up the money to make the movie, rather than a Hollywood studio.

Quaker Oats was looking to release a chocolate bar and was looking to finance TV shows at the time.

Meeting with the producer, Dave Walper, when Mel Stewart showed him the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory book.

And somewhere close to that time, we had some television shows we were doing for Quaker Oats.

Huge deal.

And to achieve this, the catalog specifies the most 20 amp models, excluding the four-way switches, utilize an, and I quote, explosion-proof labyrinth switch.

So rather than just being a heavy box, it supplies like a really specific internal geometry designed to manipulate escaping gas.

It's almost like a heavily guarded inescapable maze for electrical arcs.

They offer an optional nameplate bracket, catalog number NPBRKT, which is fabricated from stainless steel.

It mounts directly onto the existing cover bolts of the housing, allowing for custom circuit identification using either pre-drilled holes or epoxy.

And the documentation really emphasizes that this bracket eliminates, quote, costly field installation of drilling and tapping.

The term costly drastically understates the reality there.

Over the past seven episodes, we've been building the Connected Factory from the inside out.

Eight episodes into the Connected Factory, we have built something substantial, a factory with a digital thread that connects design to delivery, trusted data flowing through that thread in real time and preserved in a reliable historical record.

It's not good for the environment, pollution.

There's not as many jobs because one, they're Chinese jobs and they're also in these big factories, a lot more robots.

This is a great opportunity to meet with these startup companies.

So Digg Robotics is one of those companies.

Neuron Factory, another participant in the program, building a knowledge graph, focus on pre-construction, super exciting company, also a ventures company.

company um there's there's many formas uh you know focus and design i know you're yes about the physical space but um you know some of the things that are doing leveraging some of the ai capabilities almost seems like magic so really exciting developments are happening across the board and we're just uh excited to partner with these innovative companies as part of this program

Meanwhile, large industrial customers, in metals smelting, chemicals and paper, can't get enough fuel to produce electricity themselves due to state-owned miner Coal India prioritising deliveries to grid-connected generators.

Small steel mills in the central state of Chattisgarh are facing outages of 10 to 12 hours a day, forcing plants to reduce output, said Manish Dupad, General Secretary at the Chattisgarh Mini Steel Plant Association.

Mills require an uninterrupted supply of power, he said.

Say we have hot metal inside the furnace and just before we are able to take it out, the power supply goes.

By the time it comes back, the material has solidified and we need to melt it again.
