Factor V Leiden

Um, but after two miscarriages, it was so nice to have an answer as to what was going on.

So I was diagnosed with a blood clotting disorder called Factor V Leiden.

And luckily, when you have that, if you take an injection blood thinner, it's called Lovenox, that tends to help pregnancies be healthy and be able to go full-term.

And luckily, that did work for us.

It was a really good experience.

And I did have to be induced early.

Uh, one thing with Factor V Leiden, the blood clotting disorder I have, is that there is a high risk for stillbirth.

So the doctor did not want me to go full-term, so I was induced at 38 weeks.

So that's one thing.

If you look at Factor V and Factor V Leiden, I kept on saying I'd buy a pair of shoes for the first time I found one.

That's one in 150,000.

So I usually look down my nose on people doing factor V.

There are patients that have had a knee replacement that have ongoing pain, and we have done embolizations for those patients with good results.

But in terms of those medical issues with the Factor V Leiden and the AVMs, I do not think that that would present the contraindication.

So all of the areas for embolization.
