I kind of... felt quite positive at half time when obviously Glendon had a nice little finish didn't he and then second half just like nothing changed it was just pretty much the same and especially it really annoyed me because like their bench they only had three players didn't they or something and I just I honestly thought they were there for the taking but you know there we are I think it's football sometimes isn't it but like I said we proved it right the next game didn't we

Tim Spokes was on that Thursday for the live episode he said that they'll see the best of us when we have two training sessions a week which we have during September and so far so good two home games 12 goals scored and zero conceded and we've got two further home games as well against Workington and Gainsborough so Workington FA Cup second qualifying round if we win that the home game against Avro will be rearranged because that will be the date of the third qualifying round and then the FA trophy was drawn on Monday dinner time and it's games with Trinity in the third qualifying round of the FA trophy but yeah I missed the FA Cup game so one of you two want to talk through that and how we went from 0-0 we all missed it so yeah 30 minutes in 0-0 I'm at an event in Liverpool I see we go 3-0 up and I go oh great five minutes later check it 6-0 half time like some performance

I don't know if it's been confirmed yet, but... keeping an eye on the club's social media feeds for that to be released and then finally I'm not too sure when this is going out because we normally record on a Wednesday and it's Monday it's very unusual for us to be this organised but on Wednesday night the youth team are away at Warrington Town if the podcast goes out before the game get down and support them if the podcast goes out after the game hopefully they have won and have progressed in the FA Youth Cup first time since the season we were kicked out beat Kers and Ashton in the first round of qualifying I think it's like an extra preliminary round it was so good to see us back in the FA Youth Cup Bury our massive as always but yeah that is it for this week hopefully everyone's enjoyed it good chat with Nards good round up we're moving on to the FA Cup this weekend I'm away in Italy so I won't be there so hopefully another 8-0 win And then, yeah, we'll be back in a couple of weeks.

and the promotion back to League Two, and they were great memories.
Alex ReedHOST

I really enjoyed, on the point of that Wembley appearance in the FA Trophy, that semi-final win away to Tranmere in the second leg.
Alex ReedHOST
4:51
That was a really, that was a great one, wasn't it? I really enjoyed that one.
Alex ReedHOST
4:55
And then some of the other away trips on our way to winning the title the following seasons, the one at Woking where we won in the last minute, With Danny Whitehead, that was a great one.

Alex ReedHOST

I enjoyed our time with Neil Danvers as a player and then as a manager.
Alex ReedHOST
37:06
But we played some really good football in that time.
Alex ReedHOST
37:08
And I think he did do, at least he leaves Southport having made some good memories there because he took them to the FA Trophy semifinals last season.
Alex ReedHOST
37:17
I think they went out to Southend in the end, but that would have been a good occasion for the Southport fans.
AJ VergetteHOST
10:11
Maybe.
Frank HughesHOST
10:12
[laughs] Have a look at the results.
AJ VergetteHOST
10:15
Hmm.
Frank HughesHOST
10:16
W- what was, what was the result anyway?

13 MINS LATER

Frank HughesHOST
23:04
... um, horror movie, couldn't he?
AJ VergetteHOST
23:05
... any deep south horror movie.
Frank HughesHOST
23:07
Yeah, he, he looks...
Frank HughesHOST
23:08
He definitely looks as though he should be on death row.
Cliff TribeHOST
17:55
And they were both in league action.
Cliff TribeHOST
17:57
OK, but last Saturday, Weymouth went to Harper University and the FA Trophy second round qualifying.
Cliff TribeHOST
18:06
And an exciting game.
Cliff TribeHOST
18:07
2-2, Dan.
Cliff TribeHOST
18:26
They won on penalties down 4-3.
Cliff TribeHOST
18:28
Toby Holmes, Tom Beerwich, Mitch Beardmore, and Lewis Brown were the successful scorers from the spot.
Cliff TribeHOST
18:36
So, Weymouth march on in the FA Trophy.
Cliff TribeHOST
18:39
They march on in the league.
JoeHOST
42:59
I've done a little bit of research.
JoeHOST
43:02
They lost in the FA Trophy last week, 4-0.
JoeHOST
43:07
But there was reasons for that.
JoeHOST
43:11
Their captain was getting married and therefore half the first team were at the wedding.
HarveyHOST
16:03
Redlington just outside of the playoffs, but we're going to go a bit further down and we find Gisbertown in 12th.
HarveyHOST
16:12
I think they'll be quite happy with that in the FA Trophy.
HarveyHOST
16:16
They got a win on penalties against Ashington, so it's quite optimistic at Gisborne at the moment, I'd say.
Max O'HaraHOST
16:22
Yeah, I think
Jon CouchHOST
1:25
Yeah, very much so.
Jon CouchHOST
1:26
We're in that period where there's literally cup games like every week, isn't there at the moment? The FA Trophy and VARs and FA Cup as well.
Jon CouchHOST
1:34
There's draws left, right and centre coming out your ears and you get the FA Cup and the FA Trophy draws muddled up like I do every single year.
Jon CouchHOST
1:43
So yeah, we're in that guise.
Jon CouchHOST
1:46
But yeah, maybe start with the league actually.
Rich FayHOST
3:51
You know, Wrexham were 12th after those 10 matches.
Rich FayHOST
3:54
Get back into a title race, get to the FA Trophy final.
Rich FayHOST
3:56
Yes, they fall short.
Rich FayHOST
3:57
Then the season after, there weren't many lows, but Halifax on Good Friday, that felt like, how, how have we not got promoted again? What is it? If, if we don't get promoted from National League at the second time of trying, Parky might be gone because he will have had a lot of investment.
Greg MasdingPANELIST
44:28
Uh.
Cliff TribeHOST
44:28
Or is there a third round of qualifying? I'm not sure in the FA Trophy.
Greg MasdingPANELIST
44:31
Mm.
Cliff TribeHOST
44:31
We'll have to see.
Cliff TribeHOST
45:48
Um, no game-
Greg MasdingPANELIST
45:50
Yeah
Cliff TribeHOST
45:50
... at the weekend 'cause they exited the FA Trophy.
Greg MasdingPANELIST
45:52
Out of the FA Trophy, yeah.
SiânHOST
61:50
That's mad.
RyanHOST
61:52
Uh, number four, goals conceded in our entire FA Trophy campaign when we got to the final in the 21/22 season.
RyanHOST
62:01
That was six rounds in total.
SiânHOST
62:03
More.
