Ezekiel 47

Jew, Gentile, believer, Israel, all of us one in the land.

And we see that in Zechariah 14, Ezekiel 47, Isaiah, and elsewhere.

We will be neighbors together, all believers back reunified.

See salvation when Messiah returns.

The prophecies of his second coming are right here.

Leviticus 23 says, then Yah spoke to Moshe saying, speak to the children of Israel in the Gentile beliefs you're grafted in.

Numbers 15 says you're to be treated as native born and so does Ezekiel 47, elsewhere too.

So speak to the children of Israel saying, in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall have a Shabbat, a memorial of blowing, and it doesn't say trumpets, but of trumpets, a holy convocation.

Like the rightful place where all the children of God come, Gentile believers, you come with us.

Ezekiel 47 says, we go back to the physical land of Israel and divide up the land amongst the tribes and any Gentile believer gets a portion in whatever tribe he or she chooses to sojourn.

made your sukkah you shall keep it as a feast to yah for seven days in the year it should be a statute forever in your generations you shall celebrate celebrate it in the seventh month you shall dwell in sukkahs for seven days all who are native israel shall dwell in booths in sukkahs Ezekiel 47 says the Gentile believers are to be treated as native-born.

Exodus 12, Numbers 15, Leviticus 17, Leviticus 19, Leviticus 24, Isaiah 56 all say that Gentiles are to be treated as native-born.

And you become part of Israel.

Ezekiel 47, the last three verses, says you are to be treated as native born.

Exodus 12, Numbers 15, Leviticus 17, 19, and 24, Isaiah 56 says the same thing.

This is why I hate the Noahide laws.

Our merit, our punishments, our rewards are based on our works.

The reason you are where you are and not in the land of Israel is because your forefathers sinned.

In Ezekiel 47, we all go back to live in Israel when Messiah returns.

He puts his foot on the mouth of olives, like Zechariah 14 says.

The Spirit was going to be given to the people.

So with that said, we were in Ezekiel 47.

And I got to find where all my stuff is because I got a lot of tabs here.

But we read from Ezekiel 37.

I'll just bring that up for you guys who are on the radio if you want to read through that while we're going through.

But.

You see fruit multiplying.

You see leaves healing.

It's in the context of a feast, which is a temple setting, and John explicitly interprets the water as the spirit whom believers would receive.

Ezekiel 47 and related eschatological temple water traditions provide an important background to all of that, because life-giving water flows from the divine dwelling and transforms what it reaches.

And so John's statement that the Spirit was not yet can't really mean that the Spirit didn't exist or had never acted or wasn't there at all, because we have the Spirit on Jesus in John chapter 1.

The thing that was not yet is the promised post-glorification gift of the Spirit to believers in its new eschatological relation to the crucified and risen Jesus.

And Christ is here in John chapter 7 fulfilling these words of what's happening, of what God's going to do for his people.

And Ezekiel 47 is another one.

And let me see here.

He says, yeah, this is Ezekiel 47.

47 and notice what he points out here he says then the man brought me back to the entrance of the temple and I saw water flowing from under the threshold of the temple toward the east for the temple faced east the water was coming down from under the south side of the temple south of the altar Next he brought me out through the north gate and led me around the outside to the outer gate facing east, and there I saw the water trickling out from the south side.

As the man went eastward with a measuring line in his hand, he measured off a thousand cubits and led me through ankle-deep water.
