Eyioma Uwazurike

Uh, they're coordinated and, uh, we, we did a better job than they did i- in a lot of those short yardage situations.

And I, I thought, like you mentioned the interior D-line, I thought Roach and Uwazurike, I think, on one of the sneaks-

Yeah

...

Surtain, uh, he, he had three tackles, missed one, so he was at 25%, uh, missed tackle rate.

Same as Eni, same as Brandon Jones.

Then you get to Singleton at 21%, Ufong go to 11%, and the guys who didn't miss a tackle, Dondre Savion, Jordan Turner, Q Robinson, Jade, Benito, and Zach Allen.

A lot of those guys don't even play.

I feel like the defensive line's in pretty good shape.

Eni Moise-Enrique, uh, you know, it, it's...

Most people know him for the gambling [laughs] and missing an entire year because of gambling, but he's been a really, really good player for them when available over the last couple of years, and, and he's going to a contract year.

He's gonna end up starting tonight, but they got this rotation with Malcolm Roach, who of course has been a really solid defensive lineman, really helps out in the run game.

Um, but we've talked so much about replacing the sack production of Jon Franklin-Myers, we haven't talked about the increased run defense that the Broncos are gonna have by starting Malcolm Roach.

Uh, and not to mention, Eni right behind him, who his strength is also defending the run.

Um, this is a, this is a really big strength of the Broncos defense, and I think that the Chiefs' game plan coming into this game, as crazy as it will, as it sounds with Patrick Mahomes as their quarterback, is going to be to run the ball.

They're, they're hoping that they can kind of create, recreate what the Bills were doing to the Broncos in the beginning of that playoff game.
