Yeah, because Carl's got a very gravelly, deep... delivery and presence um yeah looking at live footage from then it is kind of like they're doing it in vocation on stage they come out looking like cowboys and they don't they don't break from the bit um you know so it's it's pretty interesting what they were able to do and still do in europe they still play and it's funny to think what they would do in the 90s because Carl went the band fractured Carl went the industrial route the rest of the band got a new singer and released albums as Rubicon which is another you know the river that you sail into for the dead so more mysticism and stuff but that leaned more into like a post grunge.

And the Billy Idol song, Eyes Without a Face, and the film that it's based on, He had a weird fixation with that movie and that jam.

And of course, the ACDC song Night Prowler became his jam.

He acknowledged that.

Um, and the obvious shoe print and the ACDC cap, that was, those are the first pieces of, uh, material evidence, uh, that um los angeles uh sheriff's homicide got a hold of and you know when it became clear uh ramirez was a rock and roll fanatic that obviously raised all all kinds of concerns in the public mind owing to what we were talking about at the top of the hour about um you know, subliminal coding within the culture, uh, tending to trigger psychological mechanisms that tended towards atavistic, um, expressions of violence and, and, um, you know, you know, sexual and sadistic and otherwise.

So that, that became a big deal, you know, and, uh, The song Night Prowler was one of Ramirez's favorite jams, and later he admitted that he considered that his song.

That and Eyes Without a Face by Billy Idol.

He loved Billy Idol, too, which is interesting.
