ransacking the house.
speaker_2UNKNOWN
106:42
Well, for me, it's almost like the extreme prejudice thing.
Randy BurrowsHOST
106:46
Where, you know, you have these two stories that are sort of evolving and you think they're going to converge at the end.
HawkHOST
7:07
But I got the Walter Hill imprint box set.
HawkHOST
7:13
And it has Hard Times, The Driver in 4K, Long Riders, Extreme Prejudice, Johnny Handsome and Broken Trail.
HawkHOST
7:22
And the case is awesome.
HawkHOST
7:24
It's a hard case here with everything.
ChadHOST
8:50
Right.
HawkHOST
8:51
But yeah, I got a fucking hell of a deal on it.
HawkHOST
8:54
So now I got because I I own Extreme Prejudice because that came out on Vestron Video.
HawkHOST
9:01
But I don't own any of those other movies.
Antonio PalaciosGUEST
21:59
It's just, uh, it's Streets of Fire, you know? Like-
Philip DukeHOST
22:02
Extreme Prejudice
Antonio PalaciosGUEST
22:03
... all of them.
Philip DukeHOST

Yeah.
Tom LorenzoGUEST
38:24
So the third thing I saw was something that I just had to do.
Tom LorenzoGUEST
38:28
It's a movie I saw, Extreme Prejudice, a Walter Hill movie.
Tom LorenzoGUEST
38:34
Walter Hill was in attendance.
Tom LorenzoGUEST
38:38
They were presenting him with a Lifetime Achievement Award, and he was doing a Q&A after.
Tom LorenzoGUEST
39:14
And I'm really glad I got to see him talk.
Tom LorenzoGUEST
39:17
He seemed very jovial.
Tom LorenzoGUEST
39:18
He seemed like a little surprised that people... were big fans of Extreme Prejudice.
Tom LorenzoGUEST
39:24
He kind of joked that he didn't know how people liked his movies after The Warriors, that people tend to just stop at his third movie and whatever, but he got a lot of love.
Jakub FlaszHOST
1:40
So there's only one thing we have to do today, which is find another Walter Hove movie to put on the stove.
Jakub FlaszHOST
1:47
And this movie is the 1987 Extreme Prejudice.

Jakub FlaszHOST
2:01
I guess that's sort of the big thing staring right at us to discuss, isn't it? So, before

Extreme Prejudice, directed by Walter Hill, is a modern-day western dressed up as a border crime thriller Nick Nolte plays Jack Bentine.

Yep, and teen.
Kevin TudorHOST

Ugh!
Bryden DoyleHOST

looks awesome and it's also a cool movie too where it's like it's all brothers uh playing actual brothers like the quades the caridines uh the keeches or anything even i know and it was funny i remember at the time i watched the movie i was thinking like women who are the big brother actors now all the hemispheres so they are they in this if you make this movie now but um yeah uh lawn riders is great i remember thinking wild bill was was good although that's one that's a little bit more uh then what episode maybe it's not quite as propulsive last man standing is the one last man standing is one that like i don't love it narratively but it's like the classic multihill thing it's like i just like love how he films like screen violence and everything like the shootouts and that are like incredible where it's like a guy who got shot like 30 times and do like multiple rolls backwards in the in the dirt like in slow motion yeah no uh the big one i need to see is um Extreme Prejudice with Nick Nolte and Powers Booth.
Bryden DoyleHOST
5:08
I've heard that's incredible.
Bryden DoyleHOST
5:09
If we ever do TriStar in the 80s, we'll talk about it.
Dave ParkerHOST
1:43
With the cast, you kind of expect it.
Dave ParkerHOST
1:44
So Kurt Russell, it's kind of the story of like You know Extreme Prejudice, right? Nick Nolte is the law man, one side of the law.
Dave ParkerHOST
1:51
And his old best friend Cash Bailey, Powers Booth, is on the other side.
Dave ParkerHOST
1:54
And he's a drug dealer.
KevinHOST
26:10

KevinHOST
26:12
