Extraction 3

It turns out that this project of Twiggy's may not be Totally useless after all.

Yes, according to the Margin Call column in The Australian, Twiggy's dormant terminal has been transformed in recent weeks into a film set for a Netflix action thriller, Extraction 3, the highly anticipated threequel following Extraction 1 and Extraction 2.

The blockbuster currently in production stars Chris Hemsworth, Idris Elba and Pierce Brosnan.

And although the plot is under wraps, it will involve the hunky heroes having to extract some hopeless loser from a highly dangerous situation.

Produced by the Elon Musk of entertainment, Mr. David Ellison, and his company Skydance, this slapdash piece of dreck was written by some hack named David Cogginshall, whose resume includes movies like The Family Plan 2, Orphan First Kill, and The Haunting of Connecticut 2, Ghosts of Georgia, which I guess is some kind of salute to the undead along Interstate 95.

It is directed by Sam Hargrave, whose previous work includes Extraction, Extraction 2, and the forthcoming Extraction 3.

I've actually seen the first two Extraction movies and they are slightly better than usual action pictures in that they have at least one gimmick, extremely well choreographed lengthy chase and fight sequences which either have no cuts or they have those fancy hidden cuts.

Sadly, there is none of that in Matchbox or if there were, I didn't notice because my mental receptors had already short-circuited due to the intense stupidity of this project.

But Extraction 2, kinda forgettable.

And he is going to be in Extraction 3, which is currently in development at Netflix.

The Netflix movie of his that I thought was gonna be his, "Okay, I can play a different character," I thought that was gonna be Spiderhead, which came out in 2022 where he played a scientist in this high-tech prison.

It also starred Miles Teller.
