And the project includes about five kilometers of tunnel track, 700 meters of elevated guideway, and six new underground stations so that's a major project and it's expected to go into passenger service in fall 2027. so south of the fraser river civil construction on the skytrain's 16 kilometer dave barrett extension into the fraser valley reached a landmark step as the 40 440 ton langley launcher gantry crossed municipal lines and from Surrey into Langley to construct elevated guideway sections over Willowbrook Drive.

So the extension operating as a continuation of the Expo Line, a famous line, I used to ride this all the time as a kid.

So that's now roughly 65% complete on total guideway construction with foundation piles and support columns over 95% finished across all eight planned station sites.

And so that's still on track for a 2029 plan.
