The issue with biosignatures is, are they biosignatures or are they false alarms? And it is so difficult to essentially eliminate everything else that could be causing whatever that biosignature is, whether it's, microbial structure or metabolic activity or whatever it is, it's very hard to eliminate what you might call natural non-biological origins.
