The records have come from multiple federal agencies, including the Pentagon, FBICA, State Department, and Executive Office of the President.

So he's holding on to them.

He's sitting on them the entire time.

In 2010, the public defender recruited me to become the chief attorney of OPD's forensic division.

In 2011, Governor Martin O'Malley appointed me to represent Maryland on the Education, Ethics, and Terminology Interagency Working Group established to support the Subcommittee on Forensic Sciences and the Executive Office of the President on policies, procedures, and plans related to to forensic science at the local, state, and federal levels.

In 2016, I addressed by invitation the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology about the admissibility and reliability of forensic science in criminal cases.

I have also been invited to address the FBI's national CODIS symposium on the privacy and racial justice implications of familial searching DNA databanks.

And then there's things that are going to have to be legislative.

And I think—but what I do know right now is there is a desire by Congress, the Senate, the Executive Office of the President, and FEMA that all want to make changes.

They do want to get better at what they're doing.

They don't want to be that entity that holds people up from recovering from disaster.

So how do we start to get into the congressional of it all? And we're not saying throw the baby out with the bathwater.

We're not saying flush all of 44 CFR, the Stafford Act.

But right now, again, I believe that there is an overwhelming desire to have from the congressional side, from the Senate side, from the executive office of the president, let's stop this, let's get it right, let's go back to the drawing board, let's get it right, let's look at these recommendations, and how can we build off of those recommendations?

One thing I hear steadily, whether it's FMEA or talking to city managers, others in the disaster relief world, is I always learn something after each storm, something I could have done better, something I should have done better.

On August 28th, 2026, I submitted an expert declaration in support of the plaintiffs in League of United Latin American Citizens et al.

v. the Executive Office of the President at all.

So for those of you who haven't watched West Wing, or I think more accurately Veep, There is a privilege you get if you are in the executive office of the president where you can schedule and give tours of the West Wing.

And so you get to go in, you can go and look at the executive office building, and then you get to go into the West Wing and walk around and see some of the places see the Oval Office and there's bathrooms there.

So anyone who wants to be able to be like, I went to the bathroom at the White House can do that.

The Intercept editor in chief said in a previous statement, We won't let it stand.

The Monday court filing names Trump, Harp, Deputy White House Chief of Staff Dan Scavino, the Executive Office of the President, and the White House along with other persons who are in active concert or participation with them when it comes to Truth Social.

The plaintiffs asked the court to stop the identified officials from posting or allowing to be posted announcements from Donald Trump on the website Truth Social so long as Truth API is in operation.

It applies to Donald Trump and the White House's announcements, and no free version of the content is available before or at the same time as the content is available through Truth.

It's just one person.
