All right, let's turn to the first five as chosen by you.

We're going to take a look at ANZ, Clenuvel, Sonic Healthcare, Evolution Mining and Super Retail Group.

So let's kick it off with one of the big four in ANZ.

Now, of course, we know what's going on with the banks.

So, you know, I think there is a lot of costs that can come out if they should they want to pursue that way.

You know, I think that will put a lot, you know, under the share price if they're going to talk about, you know, that they will, you know, they will have a cost out program.

it's a whole yep okay right a double hold then for sonic healthcare uh you both are singing for the same song sheet today nothing wrong with that consensus all right let's see if that continues with the next stop we're heading into the resources sector in the form of evolution mining uh prayer asking about this one uh so it's gold and copper uh long term um you can see obviously the positives particularly in terms of copper what's going on there with the uh particularly AI infrastructure, build out gold, having run so hard last year, just sort of sitting, struggling around $4,000 an ounce at the moment.

Look, having recently updated the markets, it's a quarterly report there out of September.

And so even though we don't normally like to have two companies that are very similar in our portfolio, we do make an exception for gold.

So we do own Evolution Mining, Northern Star Resources.

We think these companies are very profitable at the current gold price.

They are generating a lot of cash.

The Aussie mining industry's biggest event, IMARC, has started today.

Ed Boyd's there and he'll speak with the executive chairman of Australia's second biggest gold mining company, Evolution Mining.

The tax office is bringing more aggressive, pursuing smaller, medium-sized businesses.

Complaints to the tank's ombudsman are up 74% in just the past two years.

They've been out in the wild looking and prospecting for stuff.

And they're all here over the next couple of days.

One of those entrepreneurs is Jake Klein, who started Evolution Mining in 2011, and I spoke to him a little bit earlier.

It hasn't been this good, and it's a great time to be a gold miner.

The company is planning for a final investment decision in 2028.

The project is held in a joint venture with Evolution Mining and Surge, holding about two-thirds.

Stefan Ball, he is VP of Commercial Development and here to take us through it.

Conceptually, our flow sheets are pretty similar.

uh we do we do well we have tested it based on our ore and that and that just gives you some different results because our ore is slightly different so you've got to size things different um the amount of reagents you might need is going to be different um the amount of of how you filter it is it's all just dependent on on the test characteristics of the ore so we have made made some changes and i don't know exactly um their complete design criteria either um that being said you know docker path clearly is a model for these types of um deposits and they really are paving the way so we're we're really cheering them on and we hope they're going to be successful um they're in construction right now and i think about a year or so they'll be they'll be starting to produce

Mention at the top that Evolution Mining has about a third of the project.

They are a gold producer.

Okay.

Alright, so I've asked you to look at evolution mining, only because historically I've always liked Northern Star, but they've had management issues and all that sort of stuff lately.

And I guess I'm also simultaneously asking you, what's the outlook for gold over the next year or so?

Yeah, we've got some strong fundamentals coming in for the gold price.

Obviously, it did pull back recently, but there's fundamentals out there and a lot of investors are still looking for that gold exposure in their portfolio, whether that's a physical gold ETF, a gold miner like Evolution Mining.

And there's a lot of constructive support for companies like this.

But the thing about Evolution is it's not just the gold mining side.

It's already producing copper.

Commonwealth Bank, Origin Energy, Aurora, and the Lottery Corporation are also hosting AGMs today.

Uh, meanwhile, Evolution Mining will provide a quarterly update.

And in the US, we'll see more earnings roll on with Bank of America, Morgan Stanley, BlackRock, and State Street to report earning results.

And as I mentioned earlier as well, CPI data for September will also be coming out.

I'm just going to put a what the fudge on that, but we'll come back to it and I'll get you to explain maybe some of that.
