Evil Dead The Musical

Uh, have these movies ever been done with the, the Rocky Horror Picture Show?

Around Halloween, you get, like, The Evil Dead: The Musical, or stage productions.

It's like a gore concert, like everyone's getting sprayed with the blood.

There's no, obviously, like, Rocky Picture, there's no, like, dancing and stuff, but it's a lot of fun.

I really, um, appreciate.

So for context, The Evil Dead the Musical merges Evil Dead 1 and 2 into one coherent story, so it feels much more... uh, it's very effective as far as a three-act structure where I don't think Evil or Evil Dead movies are really aiming to be a three-act structure.

Um-

Yeah, they, they made it into a cohesive thing.

I, I think it was mostly funny.

Um, I think, I think I was looking at it and I was like, "This seems like a very average show," but I could see how if you're in the audience getting splashed with blood, this would be really, really, really fun.

But I'm like, as a bootleg just watching it, it's like the songs are kinda okay.

The plot is kinda, you know, it's Evil Dead.

Like, live theater generally and at the community level doesn't have a huge budget, and watching The Evil Dead, it got me to think about how well this movie translates to the live stage.

So there, and there are lots of productions like Evil Dead: The Musical.

Sarah and I went to Evil Dead: The Musical.

It was one of our first dates.

I think we'd known each other for, like, uh, uh, I think we'd been dating for, like, a couple weeks.

Cool.

Also this weekend, there is going to be a performance of Evil Dead: The Musical.

So perfect intersection of horror movies and also musical theater.

[laughs]

I'm sure there's got...

The only one I know of is that there is like Evil Dead: The Musical in, in Canada that they do.

Okay.

We're gonna do Evil Dead later.

And we have something very big coming up.

Before the movies come out, we are going to see Evil Dead the musical very soon.

And actually, it's next Sunday, if I'm not mistaken.

Soon.

But he might go to Fright Fest and maybe we'll get some pretty cool content from that.

But something even more important, two things actually, sorry, two things that are very important is October 4th, On October 4th, we are going to go see Evil Dead the musical, and we're going to have content for that too.

I'm very excited.

It's finally happening.

I'm super excited.

I think next on our docket is, you know, just a couple more episodes.

But especially coming up, we have Evil Dead the musical.

I finally get to bring you, after all this talk for a few years, I get to show you the masterpiece that is this theater production.
