Evgeny Romanov

We touched on so many things with Tarek Salves today.

Tarek worked as a translator for Jelaz's Russian trainer, Evgeny Romanov.

He had some nice anecdotes and observations during those training camps and he dissected Yaz's game and showed us how he improved over time.

This will be an interactive lesson.

Tarik tested me with some interactive games in Yaz's practice to highlight some of his strengths as well as weaknesses as a budding prodigy.

We touched on so many interesting topics today.

Namely, how years improved as a kid, what separated him from his peers, his amazing calculation skills and how he improved on calculation, the impact of Evgeny Romanov on his chess improvement, the potential impact of The rising chess education and culture in Turkey on Yeliz's improvement.

The role of chess psychology in determining whether Yeliz will become a world champion or not.
