It was, like, Hot Shots Golf, and that's it.

Played that so much.

Then Everybody's Golf on PSP and Vita.

The Vita one's still my favorite.

I still play that quite a lot.

Yes, Golfstar on the Switch is fantastic.

Another game I've put a lot of hours in.

Everybody's Golf on the Switch is not so good.

No, I didn't

But anyhow, I digress.

I was trying to find a game to play, and in my Twitch stream, our friend Clint Turtle suggested, how about Everybody's Golf? And I had forgotten about that game.

And I did remember enjoying it.

I don't really go for, like, Tiger Woods, serious, really involved golf games, but I did enjoy Everybody's Golf, and I redownloaded that, and...

Doggone if I haven't been having a great time I've really been enjoying it it's been a lot of fun and it's been a great game to be that game where I don't know what to play let me just pick up this really quick and everybody's golf does a really good job of that today in my stream our friend Tim Paul and let me know that the servers for everybody's golf.

No longer work, and he let me know that as soon as they shut down the servers, they then made the game available for free, which I thought was pretty hilarious.

Apparently, there's another everybody's golf that's out that came out in 2025.

I want to say it's called everybody's golf hot shots.

You can tell they're like a little bit outside of that.

They are, unsurprisingly, kind of similar to the Hot Shots golf characters.

Because there's some crossover there in terms of team and whatnot.

But yeah, I think a pretty solid roster overall.

uh expand the franchise um i think it's much easier to sell an arcade type sports experience when you have characters you recognize as opposed to just random

characters um maybe ask hot shots golf that question you know yeah and as much as

i love hot shots golf i'm sure mario golf sells you know A lot

There's a lot of games I played this year.

Mario Golf: Super Rush I was very disappointed in 'cause I was hoping it would be my Everybody's Golf replacement.

Yeah.

Uh, and it wasn't.

So, and, [laughs] and now I mean Mario Golf: Super Rush is way better than the current, [laughs] uh, Everybody's Golf, which was just-

... terrible.

Sony has a

history with, like, Hot Shots Golf, and then its spiritual successors that have come out.

At the launch of the Xbox One, I don't know if you ever played it, Power Star Golf.

Yeah.

Uh, Dynasty Warriors, which was not great.

Uh, NFL Sports, uh, uh, sorry, EA Sports NFL Street 2, Everybody's Golf, which was incredible, Lumines, Medieval Resurrection, Metal Gear Acid, Midnight Club 3 Dub Edition, NBA Street, Need For Speed Underground Rivals, Spider-Man 2, Tucker The Race Driver 2, Tony Hawk's Underground 2 Remix, Darkstalkers Chronicle: The Chaos Tower, and Virtua Tennis World Tour.

That is pretty neat, yeah.

So you, you're playing these little, you're this little character and you cut the patchwork as, as to, like, for your battle system was basically cutting through, uh, through patch.

And it's [laughs] it's such a bizarre idea, but it came out and it's absolutely brilliant.

Um, and, um, obviously the PSP was where the Everybody's Golf series really took off.
