Everwood

I did TV series like One Tree Hill and Profiler.

Everwood I produced out in Utah.

And then I did features that took me all over the world.

So I've had a pretty interesting career.

I talked to a guy at Evan Green at Pascal and convinced him to bring a depot here for grip electric equipment because there really was very little grip electric equipment.

The people at PC&A, who have been longtime friends, really wanted to take care of their commercial people first, so we had very little infrastructure.

What was really interesting was once they started their role, A lot of the crew, like me, I had moved to Utah for a while to do a series called Everwood.

The crew came back.

And I was a cheerleader for my high school.

They started filming a show called Everwood, which was on like WB.

And then right around the time it switched to CW, whatever.

But it was on the WB at the time.

That song did not stick out to me.

Everwood, season one, episode one.

There we go.

Austin? No, I've never seen Everwood.

I don't even know what Everwood is.

Neverwood for Austin.

Yeah, yeah.

It's like, Luke, we have a, uh, opening at Warner brothers on this show.

I'm working on called, uh, Everwood.

And it was Chris Pratt's first show.

Um, and, uh, And he's like, I can't guarantee you have the job, but if you can get out here in three days, you have a good shot at it.

Actually, the main guy was from Austin.

Yeah.

Um, but it was like the three executives and a casting director, the casting director had already made it clear that I was this midlife crisis project that he was going to bring me the dark side and that he had everybody in the office said, you know, he cast our show Everwood and that, um, that he's going to make me turn me gay.

I said, bro, that's never happening.

back for the

season three finale of Everwood here at One Undescribable Podcast.

I'm Adam H. here with you.

So excited to talk about the conclusion of the penultimate season of of everyone how exciting how exciting it is here a season finale always very exciting so many things are always happening everyone's making big dramatic choices and their motivations for making those big dramatic choices are super clear no like curveballs nothing out of left field here random job offers just being tossed around no major surgeries or anything that got completely blown over story wise and just totally ignored um nothing like that happens whatsoever as everyone knows we focus on the things that are important here on this podcast like bringing back the bear thank god thank god we are focusing on the important elements of this show i would hate to live in a world in which we focused on things that didn't matter Oh, what a world.

Yeah.

I mean, the worst part of it is the pony was so within reach, actually.

Like there was there was actually like a it was very doable to get the pony here in Everwood.

And alas, no dice.

Brown, Ephraim and Delia, Amy Bright and Edna Nina, Harold and Irv and everybody

else residing in the town which is called Everwood.

Your favorite podcast.

Where we bring our love, our heart shakes.

Yes, that is right.

We're here.

We're back at one of the Scarborough podcasts where we're talking through Everwood season by season, episode by episode.

I'm Adam H. here with you, and we have reached the ultimate podcast word, which is, of course, realizing that we're putting us at the penultimate episode of the penultimate season of of the show.

Like One Tree Hill and

Everwood.

I will say this.

Watching it now, you know, god i'm 35 now so watching it 15 20 years later it is extremely cringy i mean yeah extremely cringy to watch a lot of it the acting is not very good in the first like three seasons uh but you know the nostalgia effect is real and it's there so it was it's pretty cool to get to go back and relive some memories and a lot i mean obviously I mean, that's literally the only time I ever watched it all the way through was then.
