Hello! Last week we talked about Universe Season 1, Episodes 10 and 11, where Rush framed Colonel Young for the death of Sergeant Spencer, so Young left Rush on a planet to die, except that Rush was then picked up by aliens and experimented on, and eventually made it back to Destiny with Chloe, who was taken at a later time.

Lots going on.

Today we'll be discussing Season 1, Episodes 12 and 13, Divided and Faith.

So the next morning, Rush goes to talk to Colonel Young in his room.

Young is like, oh, good, because I wanted to talk to you, too.

After she follows Rush's code instructions to the bridge he's discovered, Eli, Volker, and Brody follow, so they find it.

While Young and Rush awkwardly await rescue, Rush tells Young the Destiny's mission is actually to explore an anomaly in background radiation of the universe and asks for his help to complete the mission.

Simeon escapes from his guard and is seen menacing Dr. Perry in Gin's body.

What does the greater good mean in this context?

I think it's when Rush and Young come to an accord.

They come together for the greater good.

Really? I mean, he was kind of blindly defending Young for no good reason, I guess, but-

In fact, you made sure of it by telling them it was their only chance.

You wanted somebody there because you didn't have the guts to do it yourself." And your guess was that they're on the planet of the week, and they found a potential solution to getting home or fixing something, and Young rushed into things and now people are dead, so Rush is yelling at him for causing this situation.
