We're talking with USDF and the dressage group.

You know, we've been working with Rob and Molly and the group at Eventing who will be operating that way coming into 2027 with the light.

So I think that as more people see it, there's an opportunity for more people to get there.

I think that people get worried about sometimes about, well, you know, everybody's, you know, there's so many things going on in the unrecognized environments.

So we're gonna ask a couple of the Aachen ones, and then we will save a few more moving forwards into September as we look forward to Cumbria, et cetera, et cetera First question is actually one that comes in from one of our listeners who has asked, um, and I think this is a really important point actually because it's about the transparency of these conversations, so I'm interested to get your take.

Uh, why are there limited Brit- British Eventing events in North Wales/North West/Wales, and what is British Eventing doing about it?

That's one of our holes.

Yeah, we have a hole there, and we are working with organizers in that area as well as the east as well, we have a hole there, to try and find some more venues that are able, willing and able to put on our events that are then viable, and that's the question.

It's just a, a matter of time, hopefully, before things come together.

Mm-hmm.

Next question that has come in that has said, is there anything going on at Burghley in terms of anything that they might be able to go and see or support British Eventing? I know you have done various things in the past.

Is the BETF doing anything, Rosie?

Okay, listeners, it is time for the Scone preview show because everybody, that is pretty much everybody in the eventing world, is trucking north in England into Scotland to one of the most beautiful venues in the sport.

Uh, D is with me, and we are going to look forward to a brilliant week in Scotland.

D, Scone has only been on the calendar for a year, and I don't know about you, but I feel like it has been here for a lot longer in its current form.

And, and to be fair, like, it was beautiful weather, which also does make a massive difference, doesn't it? It really helps if the sun is shining too.

Um, but one of the things that I actually find really interesting about Scone and Perth Racecourse in particular is the sort of the racing/eventing crossover.

And I have to be honest, one of my favorite shows that we have done on the show this year was with Lucinda Russell, which, listen-

It is not particularly efficient for explosive power when trying to do show jumping.

Okay, that's why in the equine world, Eventing is one of the most complex and difficult sports for horses and riders, because essentially it is kind of like triathlon in the human world.

You're trying to be exceptional on all three things, which is why it's really difficult.

But the reasons why I say that is because the tissue specialization, which you get in the specific discipline, basically has a bit of a trade-off because you're becoming more precise in your body or the horse's body.

You know, I had dinner with her at, um, Calafate out in, uh, Patagonia, but she's got quite a reputation in the, in the international eventing world.
