Euron Greyjoy

While all of this has been happening, he at last finds an ally, sellswords from the east and pirates.

Among them is one exile from the Seven Kingdoms, whose exploits have won him infamy across the Narrow Sea, Euron Greyjoy.

His offer to the Crow's Eye is simple.

He will support his return and his claim to the Iron Islands if Euron provides Tywin with his skills and, most importantly, his connections in Essos.

They begin raiding their border castles and pillage the farms that Renly used to justify his rule.

Yet as that happens, the Ironborn longships prowl the coasts.

Euron Greyjoy's black sails blot the horizon, his reavers striking indiscriminately at Riverlands villages and Reach ports alike.

They support neither brother, and soon smoke rises from burning towns while Tywin Lannister sits in Casterly Rock, watching with cold satisfaction as his enemies bleed one another.

I don't think Daenerys yet believes in the White Walkers, but I think that she definitely believes that Jon Snow believes, and I think that just a little bit, that may frighten her.

Back at King's Landing, we've got Euron arriving with Yara and the Sand Snakes, and it's funny how this show can make me like a character so quick and then make me hate him again in the next episode.

God, that was so cringey! Like, droves of girls blowing kisses at him, and him blowing kisses back at the crowd, and they're screaming like he's a rock star or something.

I mean, it was just ridiculous, and he looked stupid.

So he takes the sand snakes before the seat of Cersei's throne because Cersei obviously doesn't care about Yara.

Yara is Euron's prize.

Cersei has them taken to the dungeon and I immediately noticed something off about this scene.

I was like, there's something going on with Lena Headey's makeup in this scene because her lips are quite red.

We burn the sea.

Euron Greyjoy comes with black sails blotting the horizon.

The iron fleet stretches further than the eye can follow, their prows carved into beasts and monsters, their decks bristling with reavers eager for blood.

At the center rides the silence.

Below, hidden in the surf, barrels are loosed into the tide.

Casks sealed with pitch, each filled with wildfire.

Silent, unseen, they drift toward the ironborn ships.' On the silence, Euron Greyjoy laughs.

He wears armor of Valyrian steel, and his eye patch has been torn from his blackened crow's eye, leaving the gruesome sight on full display.

Sure.

And Samwell might very well come into contact with Euron, who I think we get a little bit of a hint of what's reality because in the Sphinx.

That's the magic of little sleepies.

chapter they're talking about how fishermen come in and they're always telling their tales and you never know if it's true and then there's a whole thing of like well if different fishermen from different places or whatever say the same thing is it true which you know i'm thinking sea monsters like the kraken and in euron's claims of going to ashai and valeria and To me, this is almost like a little bit of a, don't trust someone who claims these things.

And I do think the showdown between Euron and Sam could very well happen.

One thing I, can you remember the Euron scene where he walks up the steps towards Cersei and the mountain is having zero of that?

Oh my god, I was in love with that scene.

Why the hell would Euron go right past an empty Dragonstone to visit King's Landing and then leave going right past the wall again? He could take Dragonstone and immediately be the most powerful person in Westeros.

The next people I have are Euron and Damper.

Euron was attacking Oldtown or trying to get into Oldtown.

Cersei seems to be growing colder and colder by the moment, sparing no thought for her dead family members, stating to Jaime that they will build a dynasty of themselves.

But Cersei also realizes that of course she cannot succeed without allies, so she summons Euron Greyjoy to King's Landing and his pirate ship, the Silence, actually looks pretty cool.

In exchange for an alliance of the Iron Fleet, Euron asks for Cersei's hand in marriage, which she denies, telling him that he's untrustworthy.

Euron then declares that he will bring Cersei back a priceless gift to prove his loyalty.

Similarly, Sansa in the Eyrie.

I think George R. R. Martin has kind of stretched the story a bit here, introducing new POV characters and massive plot lines in A Feast for Crows and A Dance with Dragons, like Young Griff, the Dornish plotline, Brienne, Euron and Victarion, and so on.

This has allowed our core, and mostly still young, characters to get a bit of training and growth, if not everything he had originally planned.

And to be fair, this does mean we've got more great chapters to read.

And then like we talked a little bit prior, you know, in past episodes, kind of compared the dynamic to like Ormond as this Euron character for his family.

Yeah.

Right, completely the Euron character and Gwaine being, you know, one of the brothers, the Yuri or even the Euron, right, who suffered maybe at Ormond before.

Protecting Daeron from that and doing everything he can to do so is really interesting.

So there are other characters, of course, like Ramsay, etc.
