Eureka Tower

I'd like to know how many have gone up to the Eureka Tower this week Just to say, if you moved it, there'd be the expense of that as well.

So that's South Melbourne, but Melbourne as a whole in terms of the city, so much to see and do.

You've got the Eureka Tower, you've got all the sports stadiums walking distance from the CBD and that includes tennis, AFL, football, rugby, everything is there.

and the CBD has got stuff going on of course the train station is in there on Flinders Street and that's where we went to occasionally for a night out or for some other restaurants but mostly we stayed sort of south of the river towards Albert Park and in the South Melbourne area what's interesting is I've probably forgotten a lot of the stuff I did in South Melbourne in terms of little quirky lunch places cafes that I went to patisseries because such a long time ago and I never used to record anything in those days in terms of a podcast or write anything down there's the odd Facebook update but not very reliable, I must admit.

But that means I need to go back to South Melbourne to relive those days, relive those streets and see all the things I saw back then when I was 23, getting on 24 and kind of have a different perspective later in life in terms of being in my late 30s.

Is the observation wheel up? There's so much to see and do.

But after the tour, I was thinking, what will we do? We went into the city.

And we went on top of the Eureka Tower.

Yeah.

And we're looking at all the sites and we turn around and who's standing right next to us looking out over the sites is Paul Robinson, Stefan and his partner.

Was it, I hope it was in the era of, there were selfies, I hope, Michael?

They got photographs.

It wasn't at Ramsey Street, but it was on top of the Eureka Tower.

So they had a good view.

Anyway, there you go.

The Eureka Tower, of course, the sky deck there.

Yeah, go to the sky deck.

Not as good as the much smaller wheel if you want to do a view of the city.

I've never been there but I really want to.

Uh, follow that with a trip to the Eureka Skydeck which is awesome.

Uh, then you'd have lunch in, uh, Exhibition Gardens, uh, with some rolls and maybe some sausages that you got from Brenton Meats.

Couldn't be a better day out, I think.
