So if you were to zoom out and think about what you hope 40 years from now for Dollywood, what's a few glimpses of what that might look like?

We have a strategic plan that thinks outwardly about it.

And I did a rendering for our board of directors that showed in the 400 acres that I set aside for hospitality, there were five total resorts built out.

here on our property, each of them telling a different story to Dolly.

Obviously, Dream War built 11 years ago.

Just a few days ago, we celebrated our 11th anniversary.

It goes really, really fast.

And I

Babies, right? Yeah.

It's just the way it is.

Dollywood is a tradition and a force in people's lives here.

And when you change something in someone's history, you know, there's a lot of opinions that come with that.

And I think the hardest thing that I have to try to balance is the fact that our place isn't stagnant.

You know, we're an evolving entity.

We have a

I mean, I think that's probably the saddest part about it all for even for her as she was dealing with her illness.

She had so many more things that she wanted to accomplish.

And certainly you've heard her be called our dreamer in chief.

And she always really thought big about the future and, Not about daily operations.

That really wasn't her thing.

She really wasn't terribly excited about that.

We'll experience it later, but just tell our listeners a little bit about this ride.

And Eugene, I mean, you're from Limerick yourself originally.

Yep, I am.

And I so do appreciate the folks from Ireland lending their condolences.

It was fun to see all of the posts from Listol where we happened to work together to break the world's record for the number of people dressed up like Dolly Parton.

It meant so much to her.

Eugene, for people who will want to visit Dollywood, maybe more so now even, to honour her memory and might be worried that its future might not be secure because Dolly is no longer there, what do you want to say to them?

Let's talk about how big this is, too.

It's a big building, and our maintenance and construction team built this thing in 16 months.

It's 44,000 square feet.

That's as big as four football fields.

Inside of the first ride experience is a ride through the Smokies, where you're actually flying through.

The next big opportunity on the ride is getting a chance to ride rapids over a half a million gallons of water.

And then, of course, the grand finale is searching after the secret lake with 1,200 synchronous fireflies as part of the grand finale.
