Escape to Witch Mountain

Uh,

Well, not just that, but also in this exact time period, right? So Escape to Witch Mountain was being shot in like spring or summer of 1974.

This is the exact same time that Disney is filming this movie is when CIA and SRI are literally working on these exact experiments.

They were basically doing remote viewing, psychokinesis, they were doing Uri Geller experiments at SRI, sensory shielding, and like the Carilion photography.

It would be creepy.

Yeah.

It's been a long time since I've seen this one, but I feel like Escape to Witch Mountain would be about on an even keel with, I don't know, the original Absent-Minded Professor or something, which I consider to be one of the better early live-action Disney movies.

So I'm putting it as an upper-tier early live-action Disney movie, which isn't really a good thing.

Something, like, M- Something Mountain or something.

Yeah

... um, was her big movie that she did when she was younger.

Yep, yep, yep

... uh, to me, you know, another staple was, you know, the Witch Mountain films, uh-

Yes, sir

... which, which was a big thing for me.

Mm-hmm.

You're telling me...

I, yeah, I did know about the Witch Mountain thing, of course.

[laughs] Yeah.

love.

You know what? There's Escape to Witch Mountain, which is like an ancient, another ancient Disney one.

I've never seen it either.

But I know my wife watches one of those Real Housewives shows.

Yeah.

I've known, I've always known, I knew her from when I was a kid watching Escape to Witch Mountain.

She's in that.

I'm looking it up.

on my mind.

Hell, I mean, I remember, I think the first time I ever really recognized it was Escape to Witch Mountain.

Oh, yeah.

Yeah.

It's something, if you're into the subject matter, it's something that you would hope that's the way, at least that's the way it goes.

Did you ever see the movie Escape to Witch Mountain, that Disney flick? No.

That's what it reminded me of.

It's like a bunch of idiot government people.

We got a huge treat today.

One of the greatest stars from Return to Witch Mountain, Escape to Witch Mountain, Wonder Woman, Gunsmoke, Jefferson, CHiPs.

You name it, this man was in it.

[laughs]

[laughs]

Oh, that's right.

And our, and our buddy Dwayne Johnson of Return to Witch Mountain.

[laughs]

Mm-hmm.

But, you know, like Escape to Witch Mountain and stuff.

And the thing about it is, is I've explored most of them at this point, and I feel like they have more, like, lore and more...

I don't...
