Now, something I wanna pivot to in this conversation is the way the Chiefs have handled this thing.

True or false, Christian, would you feel better about Monday night's game if it was Esa Pole playing left tackle than Khalil Benson?

He has chosen to ignore it.

I don't think the coaching staff, they can only make Esa Pole and Khalil Benson and every other random left tackle they've tried to make work for a single season.

They can only make so many of those guys work.

So what I don't understand is we had Esa Pole, and all right, good, he's, he's not a world beater, but he looked competent, right? I mean, we watched him play.

He looked competent.

He was better than Chue Godrich, and he played at the end of last year, and he was competent.

So I'm, what I'm struggling with is I would, y- you know, just watching every Chiefs game, it seems that Esa Pole at right tackle and Jaylen Moore at left might be a better combo than an undrafted free agent at left tackle who didn't even get signed in the first wave.

So what I'm not understanding is why wouldn't they make a, just try to keep Esa Pole on the roster just as an option?
