As a young adult, I struggled with, uh, drug addiction and alcohol.

Um, like I shared, I, I grew up foster care.

I kinda got involved in gangs and drugs at a very young age.

And, uh, a- at, in my late 20s I had a daughter, and I was trying to get my life right, and I just didn't know how to.

And I always felt like church wasn't really a place for me.

And, uh, at 33 I went to chapel in, uh, a jail on my way to prison, and I opened the Bible for the first time as an adult, and I read Ephesians 2:1-10.
