Ericeira

So I was kind of trapped.

And I'm like, okay, what am I going to do? So I heard of this small surf town called Ericeira.

And I'm like, okay, I'm going to go to Aracera.

I'm going to just like hang out here.

I'll say from my perspective, visiting both and having been fairly recently to both.

Ericeira to me feels like a place that has better quality infrastructure compared to Nazaré.

And I'm not saying either are great or it makes a massive difference.

But if you need kind of better infrastructure,

then

Ericeira would be the winner.

Like if the other things are equal...

Here's what I think is interesting.

For me, I, the first time I ever surfed Nazaré was on, like, a three meter day.

Just drove up from Ericeira, like, surf the beach break, and it's still, like, a brutal wave.

Like, even at two meters-

Oh, yeah.

That's it.

Spelt with an A. A-E-T-H-O-S. Um, and that started life in actually a, a beautiful clifftop hotel in Ericeira, just south of, um, just, sorry, north of, uh, uh, Lisbon.

Um, yeah, great surf country.
