Eric Zorn

I just can't remember.

Uh, the first guest, I think, was Eric Zorn.

Yeah.

[laughs] It was Eric Zorn.

Yeah.

That would be correct.

I remember it.

[laughs]

Um, oh, and then also, um, I wanted to mention one other message which has poured in.

Oh, heck, Eric Zorn's sitting right there.

Let's talk to Eric first.

Eric is the publisher of the Picayune Sentinel, the weekly newsletter containing comment, uh, commentary, comedy, and more.

You can listen for me weekdays on WGN Radio from 10:00 to 2:00.

He publishes The Picayune Sentinel on Substack.

He's here today.

I'm just reminding everybody, here's who they have been, and maybe they'll capitalize on this the way they didn't the last time they won the World Series.

Uh, Eric Zorn, are you listening to all this chitter chatter of ours?

I'm totally listening to, yes, and, uh, I, uh, wanna speak up for, uh, us bandwagon-jumping, fair-weather fans because we are the backbone of Chicago sports.

That, uh, I think one of the problems with the Cubs for all these years was that there were too many diehard fans who would keep buying tickets and keep coming out to the games even when the team stunk, and that provided less motivation to the, uh, owners to improve the team.

Most at-bats this year by rookies in Major League Baseball.

The, there's just this, everything is good about it, the number of losses the last two years, the guys that are playing, the way they're playing.

Eric Zorn's, uh, joining us now.

He is the publisher of a weekly newsletter called The Picayune Sentinel.
