You'll, you'll recall that the second Intifada also happened in that period, the early two thousands, the Afghan war.

And so, uh, yeah, uh, the politics and international relations of West Asia were a part of my, um, I'm part of like, literally you could say it's baked into my genes and then also into my, you know, my, uh, you know, my exposure to activism.

Um, very young, my parents would bring me out to all of these things.

So When I got into university, I studied at the University of Calgary.

And so when the Supreme Court overturned it, he was toured across Canada at several Canadian universities.

And I was part of the group in Calgary that hosted him here.

And Calgary was one of his more notable stops because he went and then hand delivered a letter to Jason Kenney, the then minister responsible for banning him from the country.
