Talk about some updates we got from Seth Jarvis and Eric Robinson as they had surgery back in June where they are currently at the start of camp.

And then finally, we're going to talk about just the fact that how dialed in this team already is day one of camp.

It's the fact that we all know that, you know, yeah, they won a Stanley Cup, but now they're already thinking of this current season.

They're not going to be taking it very late, which is – it makes sense the fact that you've got a – Preseason game on Sunday in Sunrise against the Panthers.

So you're talking, like I said, you have three... consecutive days of double practice with a lot of these groups together.

Now, when you look at the C1 group, obviously, you know, you get the fact you got Andrei Svechnikov, Sebastian Aho, Eric Robinson as your top line with Hall, Stankov, and Blake.

Ehler, Stahl, Martinuk on the third.

On a two-way deal, so I think that's going to be a very interesting battle between those three of who's essentially going to possibly be a starter, who's going to be the seventh, and who's going to be starting in the American Hockey League.

Other notable names that we're surprised to see on there, not for bad reasons, but for the fact that it's good to see them on there, Eric Robinson, we all knew, had surgery.

The news came out.

on the first night after the draft that he had surgery.

The timeline was hoping that he'd be back for training camp.

His name is there, so good signs that he is going to be part of the group.

Also, Seth Jarvis was named to the training camp roster, and that was kind of the big surprise because a lot of people thought with the fact that, same thing with the Eric Robinson news, he was announced that he had his shoulder surgery and it was going to be four to six weeks.

So we're talking, you know, or sorry, four to six months, not weeks.

So, like, you've got...

I mean, you're probably taking out Eric Robinson or Nick Delorier or whomstever, but this team is just up and down completely stacked.

You might say, oh, they don't have a proper number one center.

Well, guess what? They just won a Stanley Cup without a proper number one center.

But for you, you look at this team, you're coming in very close to the same club that won the Stanley Cup in June.

So that's got to be a great comfort for you.

what inspired it? When did it start?

So actually last year, I made fun of Eric Robinson on the Canes, like the first game he played, because I didn't really know who he was.

And I was like, dude, who's this guy playing forward wearing number 50? And then I was like, okay, I kind of like this guy after watching him play.

And then that season happened and the playoffs started and I made like a robe, like a bathrobe and put Rob Robinson on the back.

Right.

That player was worse than Eric Robinson or who was down their list.

I'm trying to think.

Whoever their last defenseman was.

Pierre, um, I think out of all the major sports leagues in North America, hockey probably came in last in terms of players wanting out, demanding trades, uh, almost putting pressure on where to go.

It seems like in the last couple years there's been a shift, Pierre.

Uh, is this something that the National Hockey League should be concerned about? Look, for example, Brendan Gallagher, God love him, um, just ...

He's pretty upset about it because he went public.

You think this is gonna be a big concern for the National Hockey League going forward, or?

I don't know about a big concern, but here's what my concern is, um, and it's not the players' fault at all.

The players wanna try to win as much as possible, obviously.

Don't take penalties.

And then on the other side you had Eric Robinson, who's an amazing skater.

He's not afraid to hit people, has ve- vastly underrated skill.

And so they put that line together, and they insulate Jordan Staal, and all of a sudden you got four lines that can cause mayhem, and you can go into any series and dominate because you wear the other team out.
