And when you look back on things, whatever that little speed bump, when you look back on that hard time, you realize that it's just a little blip on a successful path.

hello everybody and welcome to the my body tutor podcast today we have a very special guest we have eric nystrom with us now some of you may recognize that name he's a retired nhl hockey player he has 10 seasons under his belt nearly 600 games which eric i can't even i I can't even begin to wrap my head around 600 games.

And that, of course, doesn't include time on the ice practicing, scrimmaging.

I don't know what else y'all got up to.

We had a, probably five or six guys that were really just getting their feet wet full-time, and the veteran guys were so, so, so good to us.

The Ray Whitneys of the world, um, Trevor Daley, Alex Goligoski, Erik Nystrom, um, uh, of course Jamie Benn.

And, and, and I just remember how great these guys were.

Vernon Fiddler, and, and at the end of the year, I remember Erik Nystrom, his contract was up, and, you know, he'd hung out with the boys and then, you know, he'd bought a bunch of dinners for the young guys, and I just, like, thought the world of the, this group of, of older veterans.

And I, I remember him being like, "Hey, Dilly, you know, have a great summer, and, you know, hopefully we'll see you again.

If not, maybe we'll see you, you know, during the sea- you know, during the season." And I kinda thought, like, "What do you mean?" Uh, like, I was, I borderline wanted to tear up.
